MEET ORCA ECHO
Type, Point, and Scroll—All Within Reach.
Keychron Orca echo brings a thumb trackball, left-thumb wheel, and scroll pads on both halves into one compact split keyboard. Move between typing and navigation with fewer reaches for your mouse, while positioning each half to fit you.

All under your hands
A real trackball, right under your thumb.
Most split ergonomic keyboards still make you reach for a mouse. Orca echo places a 19 mm trackball where your right thumb rests, then adds a left-thumb wheel and scroll pads on both halves. Type, point, and scroll without leaving the keys.

Split ergonomics
Find your natural typing position.
Place each half at the distance and angle that fits your body. Type with your shoulders open and wrists straight, then fine-tune the angle with two-step aluminum tenting stands for long work sessions.

COMPACT BY DESIGN
Small board, full control.
Orca echo uses 49 carefully chosen keys, keeping essential inputs close and giving each finger a clear job. With layers, the board stays compact without losing the control you need every day.

Easy to start
Your first split keyboard.
Ctrl, Shift, Tab, and core symbols stay familiar, while browser-based remapping removes the usual DIY barriers. The split layout still takes time to learn, but getting started is simpler — no soldering, no firmware flashing, no code.
Nova Socket
The ultra-thin socket behind the slim build.
Nova Socket is Keychron's ultra-thin hot-swap socket for low-profile boards. It helps keep the PCB slim and clean, grips switch pins securely, and lets Orca echo stay thin and carry-friendly without giving up hot-swap.
Slim PCB
Built for a thinner low-profile body with cleaner internal structure.
Low profile
Hot-swap
Change switches later without soldering, while protecting the pins during swaps.
Serviceable

Low or MX
Start low-profile. Go MX when you want.
Because Nova Socket uses an MX-style pin layout, the same PCB can support low-profile switches now and standard MX switches later with an optional MX switch plate. One board can grow with your typing preference.
DESIGNED FOR ANSI USERS
Familiar Keys. Smarter Layers.
Orca echo’s U.S. version updates the Japanese campaign layout for ANSI typing: familiar symbol positions, a numpad-style number layer, and Delete at the top right. Fn1/Fn2 access two layers, while M1–M4 are ready for custom shortcuts.

Two switch feels
Linear or Tactile, feel it your way.
Choose between two Keychron Apex POM low-profile switches: Apex red switch for smooth linear travel or Apex brown switch for a defined tactile response. The hot-swappable design means your first choice does not have to be your last.

Magnetic storage
Split to work. Snap to go.
Use the two halves apart while you work, then snap the bottom sides together when it is time to move. Orca echo becomes one compact piece for packing, carrying, and setting up again.
